As late comer to DIStown, I can help wherever needed. I was thinking of town historian, but it looks like that's covered! I'd love to help in the bakery or the library or even work a bit in MeMom's daycare! As long as I get to move into DIStown, I'd even work on the garbage truck!

I haven't been watching but this week for some reason I want to become a cupcake maker. I even thought of a business name. I think it's the career for me.

Everyone loves cupcakes. We can make fancy smancy ones too. In cute little boxes, tied with ribbon. Sigh. If only. I actually googled "how to start a cupcake business" as a joke and you should see all the advice out there.
I just don't want to clean the kitchen or do dishes....
Cupcake bakeries are all the rage these days! We have several down in Atlanta that I would love to go try.

NYC has oodles of cupcake bakeries. They ARE all the rage! We live next door to a bakery and their main feature is their cupcakes. The cappuccino one is aHHHHmazing!

) We have so many cupcake shops and people making them out of their houses. At one particular place, they have mini cupcakes (which are perfect b/c the regular ones are just too rich) and red velvet is my favorite, followed closely by vanilla that has white chocolate chips in the bottom. YUM! But a new shop just opened near my house and my girlfriends and I have been trying to set up a date to go check it out. Nobody has cakes at their events anymore. This weekend I was at a baby shower for my cousin's DW and when they served the coffee, I thought to myself "hmm, wonder when they'll serve the cake?" I had already had a cupcake.
