Resort Hoppers-Advice needed please help!

We are currently booked with the free dining bounce back. At AKL 7 nights pool view, PH tix. 2Adults 1- 13y/o, 1- 4y/o package total is $2950.

I would like to try a split stay, but really dont know where to start

How do you price it out(on the wdw site)?

If I did say 4 nights @ POP and 4 @ AKL do I have to book 2 seperate pkgs w/tix for each one?

Will the CM know what Im talking about if I tell them that I want to price out a split stay?

Could I just book POP w/a 8 day PH and then book AKL w/a 1 day tix? Will this affect my free dining?

you can price it out on WDW by using the listed rack rate for each resort.
each resort stay will have it's own ticket requirement (remember, the tix can be as little as a one day base, & saved for future use if wanted).

keep in mind that it is significantly less expensive to buy a longer pass than 2 short ones. adding the extra day to an adult 7 day PH would cost about $2 ($281), $3 on a child's ($245).
a single day adult PH will run over $123 each, two adult 4day PHs would cost $547. 2 4-day child's will cost $475.

splitting resorts (2 4-day stays) will cost you over $266 additional per adult in tix, child $230 more. total additional in tix (3A, 1C) equaling $1028
absolutely call to price the different scenerios out, but realize it's very possible that you might find your initial package worth keeping. or, if you are looking for a lower cost option, consider a value or mod for the entire length of your stay.

yep it was comming out to more for the split stay when I priced it. Thats why I thought I was doing something wrong. Thanks for your help Maybe next year we will try POP.
