Resort hoping and TIME????

If check out is 11am and check in is 3pm, what do you do with time? S

Hi.
We resort hopped between AKL, WL and GF on our January trip.

You can do a few things:
Go and check in to your next hotel. If your room is ready, move in. If not, return to a park, or go swimming, tour the resort, etc.

Or check out. Then go to a park like you would on any other day.
Then after you are done touring, head to your next hotel and check in.

We were able to get in to our WL room by 11:30 a.m.

If you normally tour a park during those hours, just go ahead and do so. If you are planning a day of rest, head to your next hotel and check in. They will either let you right in your room or tell you to check back.

We just resort hopped between CBR and YC during pre Easter week. We did express checkout from CBR(meant we didn't have to go to the Custom house to check out) so we could eat breakfast at the foodcourt then drive to the YC. There we checked in and left everything ...luggage and paperwork from checking in...at bell services. We took off for Epcot and spent the time there. The room was ready when we called at 2:00. We also could have gone swimming since we put our swim gear in one bag.

It was no hassle and kind of a thrill to try a 2nd hotel 1/2 way thru our vacation.

You can always have a nice lunch, visit Downtown Disney & check back in the early afternoon. Last year when we did that our room was ready by 1:30.

We resort hopped from AKL to WL in Feb. We went on to the WL and checked in at 11:30 even though our room wasn't ready, locked our valuables up in a safe deposit box, left our luggage with the porter, and went to the MK. Went back to WL around 6 and had our luggage brought up to our by then readdy room and unpacked...
