Resort help - I'm going nuts!

I am making a very fast, spur of the moment trip to Orlando next weekend to visit a friend that is having a hard time. When at WDW I usually stay on property - but since this is a fast and "cheap" trip I need to find a nice, safe, place to stay that is fairly inexpensive. I have looked on the internet tonight until I'm crosseyed! I would appreciate any and all help you can give me on a nice, safe (cheap) hotel to stay at for 2 nights. It seems like when I'm not looking for a place I see all kinds of adds for $25.00 a night - but when I need something it's $75+. Also, if I decided to stay on property, would I get a better discount with my Disney Club or my Annual Pass? Thanks so much for your help!

Hi, I am not sure if you will have a car? We have stayed at the Maters Inn on I-192 on several occasions. It was clean. when you come off disney property you go west. There are not as many hotels at that end. it is also close to a Waffle House and there is a great rest. across the street called New Youk Pizza. There is suppose to be a bus that severs serveral hotels but we always drove when we stayed there. Alo a small breakfast bar in the morning. the # is 407-396-7743. Good Luck and have fun. Patsy

You might still be able to get a good price if you use your annual pass I would call and see. Next week isn't a holiday so I think you should be able to find something. Call right now and see. Good Luck Let us know what happens.

Enter Orlando as a City and go to Country Inn and Suites. The one at Calypso Cay is new and gets really good reviews. I have seen the rooms for $49 most of the time and it includes breakfast.

You can see it off Osceola Parkway as your near the entrance to WDW.
