Resort Help - BC, WL, or POR

If you are looking for QS options, I’d skip the BC. We love the BC but a big drawback for us is the lack of QS. I’d either go for WL or POR. I haven’t stayed at POR since it was Dixie Landings, so a long time, but we do enjoy the food court there and visit it when staying at other resorts. We are actually staying st POR this summer and are really looking forward to it. Ironically, if we can get a good discount on the WL we are planning on doing a split stay between POR and WL because the WL is lovely, too.

You may know this already, but in case you don't, the Studios at Boulder Ridge at Wilderness Lodge sleep 5.

Yes, very true! I’m actually looking into it for our next trip. However, I’m not too impressed with the non-refurbed DVC studios. The ones we’ve stayed in tend to be dated and a bit worse for wear. I wish the “regular” WL would add those Murphy beds to some rooms.

We just got back from CSR a few months ago and color me impressed. We have stayed at all the places you mentioned. I do like BC, but only if we are staying club level. Otherwise, it is too difficult to get a quick and easy breakfast.

CSR was easy. We stayed in one of their newly renovated rooms and i felt like it was on par with a deluxe for half the price. It was a little bit of a pain not the be able to walk to a park, but I factored in money for Lyft and honestly it was amazing. They dropped us off right at the front gates for everything. We could have used the busses, but with Lyft we didn’t have to worry about timing or space. I never noticed anything with convention crowds. If anything, it makes the resort seem more deserted as they usually are 1 to a room as opposed to families of 3-4 or more as you see in most of the resorts.

WL is great. It’s serene and the ability to walk over to the campground with all it has to offer is nice. That is my favorite deluxe if we want to feel like we are away from everything.

LSS—if budget is a concern, CSR. If all is equal, WL and walk over the trails end for breakfast if you want cafeteria style.
