I apologize because I am sure this is somewhere but when I search I cannot find it.
Previously when we have stayed on property we have had free standard parking at the parks, its been 3 years since we have been to WDW and didn't know if this was still the case?
Thanks!

Some resorts still issue paper parking passes. If you get one, put it on the dash of your vehicle and they will waive you through. If no paper parking pass, they will scan your MagicBand to see you are a resort guest.

Bonus tip, if you end up paying for parking (like if you arrive and go to the parks before going to your resort), you can then go to the front desk with your receipt and they will credit the cost back to you

Heads up, Disney now charges extra for preferred parking. So even if you get there early, you will not be as close to the park entrance/TTC as you used to be. (We still found it manageable to walk from parking to park entrance or TTC. We found we preferred driving to Disney Springs, DHS, AK, and Epcot. We preferred bus to MK.

Yes, we keep the paper pass in the car to avoid a MB reading, you'll get waved right through.

Thank you everyone! I know things are always changing so thought I better be prepared!
