Hello,

I'm going to DW in April, staying at AKL. I've got a room-only reservation, and I want to take advantage of the Advance Online Purchase tickets. I have two questions about this.

Does this mean that I won't be able to use my room key for park entry?

Is Early Entry for resort guests back (it's been a long time)? If so, will I lose out on this privilege.

What's the best way to do this? Can I get the advance purchase discount if I apply the tickets to my reservation?

Thanks!
Tammy

Tammy,

I have never bought my passes over the internet - I do it at the Disney Store, but I'm pretty sure that they will send the passes to you, which means that you won't use your room key to get in the parks.

And yes, you will have access to early entry (or "extra magic hour" as they now call it) since you will be a resort guest.

You can check out mousesavers.com to see all the different prices and options for park admission to see what your best option is on tickets.

Hope this helps.
Have fun!:wave2:

If you order Park Hopper passes from WDTC/CRO or www.disney with a room only reservation, you will be charged for them immediately and the tickets will be sent to you. They cannot be encoded onto the resort ID.

If you forego the advance purchase discount and purchase the Park Hopper at resort check-in, they can then be added to your resort ID.

I ordered mine early last year and used the "will call" pickup window at MK. It worked fine, and I got a better price than if I waited. I still was able to use EE and never had a problem.

Last week I ordered our tickets for October. When ordering you are given options for regular delivery ($3) rush ($10, I think), or will call with no delivery charge. I used will call again because they will be one less thing I won't need to remember or worry about getting lost. While you can't use your room key for park entry, we did not see this as a big inconvenience for the decent discount on price.
