going crazy blues:crazy:

If you are worried about it not being busy enough and still would like relaxation, let me suggest Beach Club Villas. It is a quiet and relaxing resort, but it is just about a 2 minute walk to the Boardwalk area where there is plenty of hussle and bussle. You would sacrifice on space a bit at BCV as OKW has the largest rooms at the DVC resorts, but it may be worth it if you have a concern about the laid back nature of OKW. They are still large rooms. Just not as large. You would also have the luxury of walking to EPCOT in just a few minutes, walking to MGM in about 15-20 minutes or taking a slow boat ride to either while busing everywhere else. You would also have a nice feature pool in Storm Along Bay. Plus, you can walk to YC/BC/BW/BWV/Swan/Dolphin for things to do! Of course BWV is another option as well, but it is a lots going on kind of resort. Don't get me wrong. I love it there too. In fact we own points there and stay often, but SOME people complain it is too busy. I don't see it, but alot do. The EPCOT resorts are my personal favorite, with OKW a VERY close second. I think you can't go wrong with any of them! Best of luck to you with your planning.

Have to agree with KathyR. You cant beat the location of the BCV and another option would be BWV. Both resorts are very nice and yet very convenient to two of the parks. Your mother can walk around the lake on the boardwalk and in the evening enjoy the entertainment at the BW resort. The BCV just recently opened. You also cant beat the plethora of restaurants in easy walking distance from both these resorts.

ANd I say "DITTO". The EPCOT area would be great for you. There is also mini golf just behind that area that you could walk to. I'm sure you would love it there- why not give it a try!

i'm renting points to stay at a 2 bed. bwv. it was too good an opportunity to pass up. (especially w/ all the good things you have to say about the area!) i'm so excited- thanks for the advice!:Pinkbounc

Just chiming in that I think all the Epcot area resorts have something for every age but especially the BW resort. Your mom could take your 3 year old down to the BW at night and both would enjoy the entertainers! There is a lot of atmosphere on the BW at night and you can walk right into the back of WS for more resturants and entertainment. The pool area of BW is really nice too, my kids just loved that resort and so did DH and I.:D
