Resort Food Service

I don't know if this should be on the Resort or Restaurant board, but here it goes....

Why do all of the concessions (gift stores, food courts, restaurants) in the resorts usually close too early? We have often come back to the resort after "closing" a late park and everything is shut down. Does anyone else think that at least part of the food courts should stay open at about two hours later than the last park closes??? Unless it's changed since 2003???

the food court hours generally don't change - not matter what the season.

I think at POR the pizza place stays open until midnight. I think the rest of it closes at 10 or 11pm.

they can't stay open later without the customers.

you can go to one of the 24 hour places at Cont or Polyn - their snack bars are open 24 hours - you can't order food - but you can get something from their all ready fixed stuff - salads, etc. at that time.

take it back with you. just be sure to have a backpack to carry it - or the bus drivers won't let you take food on their buses.

you can also go over to DD - they have some places that are open until 1am?

You are right, they are closing early. The Cr used to be open 24 hrs and Wl was also open 24hr at one time. This is more about corporate profits than customer service. Cutting back payroll hours saves them money, the hours at the parks have been cut back over the years also. I have seen a lot services dropped over the years.

Agreed. I remember the days when the MK was open till midnight pretty often.
