We will be staying at Pop Century next week but would like to use a fitness center at one of the other resorts while we're there, most likely only one of the days. So, I have several questions concerning day passes:

1) How much is a one-day pass? Is it the same regardless of the resort?

2) Is the cost per person or is it considered a "family" rate? If family, what is actually considered "family"?

3) Which resort's fitness center would you recommend and why?

4) Anything else we would need to know? Any other suggestions?

Thanks so much for any assistance!

Oh, come on guys. Doesn't anyone work out while on vacation?! No, me neither. I'm really asking for the person whose going with me. I plan on just hanging out in the resort while they go to it. I think ooo-ing and ahh-ing at the deluxe resort we're not staying at will be enough of a workout. :teeth:

So, does anyone have any info or suggestions as to where to look? Couldn't find anything on the official site.

Thanks!

The fitness center at some of the resorts are limited to guests of that particular resort. I know the YC/BC fitness center specifically says you must be a guest of one of those two resorts (or BCV) to use it on the sign outside.

The fitness center at the GF Spa would probably be your best bet as far as being open to anyone. I'm pretty sure they offer a family plan, and that generally means "family" (spouse/parent/child), not you and your neighbor and the guy you met during Illuminations yesterday :)

Have a great trip!

Anne, thanks for the info! I have to ask you...did you just happen to have a picture of that sign just in case someone like me asked a question like that? LOL :)

I think you're probably right about the GF Spa. It's probably a little nicer anyway (if that matters).

What if the guy I meet at Illuminations turns out to be a relative...does that count? :teeth:

Thanks again!

Just got back and my DH does continue to work out during his vacation also. The GF spa is very nice and operated by company that is seperate from Disney. The individual daily rate is $18, they offer a length of stay rate of $30 and a family length of stay rate of $45. It doesn't define "family" on my rate sheet, but I would guess it's considered as husband, wife and children. Minimum age requirement is 14.
