sorry if this has already been asked/answered, but will the resorts be decorated by thanksgiving? thanks!

The resorts are typically decorated not long after Halloween. Someone else can probably say for sure, but I know it's not too long, since the MVMCP start a few days into November.

We love the Port Orleans Riverside resort. Quiet, clean, and beautiful. But my favorite would have to be the boat from POR to Downtown Disney. If you are going to check out this resort take the boat over. 20mins of peace!

All of these awesome pictures make me want to book a trip for the holidays. I have been there every other time of year, including January when some decorations were still up, but I want too see them in all thier glory! What is the earliest in December that all of the decorations are up???? We might have to do a trip earlier in the month versus the acutall holiday week.
Now.. off to convince my hubby!

Great thread! Going just after Thanksgiving this year and I can't wait to see all the decorations! We didn't do any resort hopping our last Dec. trip... this time we're planning a whole day for it!!! The pics are making me even more excited!!

It is guaranteed that everything is completed by the Saturday after Thanksgiving.

I have perfected the resort day over the years.

I have a late breakfast at GF, then do the loop on the monorail.

I go back to MK and take the boat over to WL for a glass of wine and some snacks in the lounge.

I take the bus to DHS, and get on the boat for the BC/YC/BW/Swan/Dolphin loop and then have dinner at Kouzzina's and head back to DTD, walk over to the dock and take the water taxi back to my home resort at POR.

So excited......we usually go the 2nd week of December but decided this year to go mid November. Glad to hear some of the resort, etc. will already be decorated. We do have tickets to the MVMCP so that will help too!!!!

i can't wait to get down there and see what it looks like this year, this will be my second disney christmas. biggest thing i'm looking foward to seeing is the osbourn lights, Come On December
