Resort Choices! What would you do?

Ok, here's the scoop, I am currently starting to plan our 2 week trip for next June. My current plan is to stay at POR for the 1st 7 then off to RPR (Club)at Universal for 4 nights, then JW Marriott (Club) for 3 and then head home.

My DW has mentioned she would like to stay at the POLY. We've only stayed at AKL in 2004. I was thinking if I split my stay between the Swan and Poly for our 1st 7 nights and dropped a night at the RPR it might even itself out on the old budget. I'm thinking of trying to surprise her with the POLY part. Is the POLY that great? Will she be as happy as she thinks? Is POR that much different? Is that too much moving at DW? Will we lose a day moving? I do most of the packing and organizing. When we move other days it really is a day of rest and not a lot of action.

What is your opinion? :confused3

Thanks, YO

You would be checking in 4 times and changing rooms 3 times in two weeks. To me that's a lot of packing and unpacking. I really like the Polynesian theme and monorail location, but I wouldn't want to change rooms so much if it were me.

I agree, I love most of the resorts but when on vacation, the less you have to change the better. Thats a lot of work. It tough enough just to do the parks ! :rotfl:

With your "game plan", I agree, switching four times could keep you busy.

If you are able to swing the financial difference between the POLY and the POR, then I would simply switch the resort choice during your first seven nights. IMO....it would be well worth it.

If you can't, I would perhaps reduce the # of nights and go to the POLY, or do a night less at RPR.

Have I completely confused you?!?!?!?! :rotfl:

Thanks for the thoughts. I am worried about the changing during the DW stay and not sure we can pull off just dropping one night at DW to even it out and stay the POLY. I still am hoping for a good teachers rate at the Swan. I am including dropping one night at RPR. I'm wondering, is the RPR and the POLY very much alike? (just thought of it). Is the POLY that impressive? What are it's big things to make it that much more than POR other than, it's designation as a deluxe and it has inside halls. :wave2:

Thanks, YO
