Please help me figure this out.

My DD and I will be checking in on one date and my DH will be joining us a couple of days later. However, I'd like all 3 of us to be listed as checking in on the same date in order for us to have all the same days on the dining plan. Can I get a DME voucher for my DH that is a different date than the checkin date?

It will not be a problem for your dh to arrive on a different day. I mean, there are plenty of instances where someone takes a rental car to their WDW resort, then they drive back to MCO to return the car and take DME back to the resort...they have already checked in, but had no trouble riding DME after that checkin day.

Thanks Goofy4Tink, that's good to know. My only concern was the voucher that they scan would have a different date on it.

When you schedule DME, if a member of your party has different flight info, you will be able to add that. We've have done separate arrivals/departures due to work schedules on numerous occasions and have never had any issues (aside from being jealous of the people going down earlier or leaving later:goodvibes ) It should have no effect on the dining plan - Disney has no problem with you paying for days he won't be there to use it. :goodvibes

My dh has arrived several days after me, and has never had an issue. He and dd arrived, one time, two days after I did....I never gave DME their flight info. They used the vouchers that came in the packet with no issues at all.
You can actually leave earlier than your checkout day as well. My dh is always heading home before dd and I....he just heads to the front desk and makes his new return DME trip reservation.

Thanks again to both of you. You have really eased my mind.

DH has a conference in NM, and instead of flying out to the conference, back to Pittsburgh, and then on to Orlando, we decided that we'd all just fly out together...he to NM and DD and I to Orlando. Then he'll just fly from NM and meet us at Disney. Because of all of this, DD and I will be at Disney for 18 days!!! We are so excited!!!
