Resort check in question

If we are checking into a disney resort on friday night, can we stop on our way to the park friday morning and drop off our bags and get a parking pass for the parks ? We are only staying at the resort one night, whats the possibility they may have rooms ready ?

Officially, you can check in any time after about 6AM. But your room might not be ready until 3PM.

You can check in,leave your bags, get a pass and go to the parks. Although a room may not be ready, in all other respects you will be a guest of the hotel.

During our first visit, staying at POR, we checked in at 10am. The room wasn't ready, but they gave us a parking sticker and a phone number to call later. We checked some of our luggage and went to the parks and called the phone number later and they gave us the room number and we went straight to the room. I think it happens all the time.

This answers my question as we will be getting in at 9 am on friday morning and didnt know if we could check in.
