Oh, no, it is not silly at all. That was my first plan too - but then the first time I bought one, I saw a child with his parents who looked just the right age to enjoy a balloon. It did take a LOT of courage to walk up to the parents, but I did it and they were so kind and the little boy was thrilled! I gave it to the parents and they gave him the balloon.
I still might just release one some visit. Do whichever feels right at the time. You will likely walk away with some tears, but it will be okay.
I understand about the HDDR - there are places I still cannot go at WDW too.![]()
I fully expect to be walking around crying there will just be so many places that will trigger the flood gates to open I am sure.
I'm so glad today is over. It was just awful at work today. I'm gonna watch a Disney movie in German to make me feel better. Too bad I can't switch a resort to help make me feel better.![]()
Can you book a room and change it later? I was so depressed last year the morning we would have been flying down to Disney had we not had to cancel that I booked our trip, of course I changed it about a dozen times in the next months but I felt good that day after I had a new reservation for this year

We are as different as two people can be, but we've wanted to do a trip together and since we both turn 65 in 2012 (March for her, November for me) we thought it would be a fun trip. Hence the "Wild Nana's". She would have had "Grannies looking for Hot Italians"!!

I know how much you wanted it at one point - I'm very happy for you!
. Do you find it ironic that we both are back to our original booking and you're back to Poly which I just canceled and I'm back to WL which you canceled last month
You DD is the coolest person ever! No one around here learns German. It's always either French and Spanish.
They are missing out on such a wonderful and beautiful language. All I hear is how ugly it is.
.
I see too much tragedy, because I work in a ER, and it really keeps me grounded. My DH and all my babies are truly all that matters to me. Truth be told, many of you here are my extended family

Emergency intervention needed. Any good deals out there which would include dining, tickets and room? I really want to stay at YC/BC/BWI......
). The YC was the last resort (other than the CR) that DD knew about and she seemed happy with that choice. She hasn't been overly enthusiastic about this trip which I chalked-up to her being a tween
and the fact that she spent 22 nights at WDW last year. So DH and I sort of ignored her on the topic of resort choices and didn't ask her anymore.

Of course, Rosie wouldn't consider such a trip, so I would join a pilgrimage. I'm sooo confused....oh, I would not ditch Rosie though...but maybe keep the Disney trip to bare bones. Yeah, sure, I could do that.
We also arrived just before the Iraq war when Europeans were not thrilled with Americans...sigh...add the nut with us complaining the entire time...oye...what an experience!! That was my first trip to Italy in 2003 - 3 mos later I returned with 2 friends. I made all the arrangements - air, Pensiones, train...it was wonderful! I came from Boston, one from NY and one from LA - I managed to get us all on the same flight to Rome and with excellent fares.
. In August we saw a bride and groom taking photos out by the Mickey sculpture. We were on the 12th floor and could see that the bride had her flip-flops on underneath her gown. It was so cute.
