Yep - give up all hope - you belong here!

After I posted my "saga" I started to think about all my past trips!! I don't think I have EVER booked a trip and stuck with the original resort yet! (Except my honeymoon at the GF )

2000= BC (originally booked BWI)
2005 = POR (originally booked POFQ, considered AKL)
2006= AKL (originally booked POR)
2007 = GF (orginally booked CR)
2008 = Pop (OK, this one was booked 42 days out so there wasn't time to switch!)
2008 = GF (originally booked CR
2009 = CR (originally booked Pop and see above saga)
Dec 2009 = GF booked now (originally booked CR)


Glad I am not the only one who does this on a regular basis!

Oh, no, you're not the only one:

Booked 4/3 in Nov. at GF/Sugarloaf with 1 night room-only at AKL for June.

Changed 4/3 in Feb. to CR/Atrium and changed room-only to 4 nights at WL in Aug.

Now, I'm going to change WL to Poly - but I can't make a decision on my Longhouse request.

Hopeless...

Well.... it was going to be Pop with free dining, but then I realized I might be able to upgrade and stay AKL using DVC points after talking to Disneybride03 . So, I get so excited about AKL - and started making plans, but Sis put a kaboosh on that, so its back to Pop. Well a girl can try right? I just need the airfare to come down a bit, since this is supposed to be a budget, quickie trip !

I love budget quickie trips! You'll have a blast with your Sis.

At least you only have one switch per trip! Some of us have had to call to check on dates and to find out which resort(s) we're booked at! You're doing well!

Oh, no, you're not the only one:

Not so hopeless! Hang in there!

(PS try for Fiji - both sides have stunning views, Samoa, same thing with a wonderful location, or Niue for the size, location and views. Request all three if you want to, then when you get there you can always ask for a room in another longhouse at check in )

DH said yesterday, "Just switch to the Poly already, and, then he says, "How about club level?" Great! No longhouse request to worry about, but then I (finally) call to switch and there aren't any rooms at the 40% mil. disc. left. I guess I'll make my switch from WL to Niue today (before it's too late) - or will I.

Hi all, yes I have been totally been MIA!

Been crazy busy with fundraising for ACS...our Relay for Life event is right around the corner!!!

Cant recall if I posted my latest change?! lol

4 weeks from now we will be at the airport ready to go! woohoo!!

We are at VWL the first night now, then onto BCV! THough it best to be close to MK for our MK days, ADR's and now Wishes Cruise! Kidani will have to wait for Sept!!!

Must go and catch up and see what has been happening around here!!!!

Yeah you! You'll love Poly - it makes WL look like a complete wannna -be resort. The level of service there is outstanding. (And did I mention the food?)

Since you're going in August, maybe you should amend that request to Fiji with Niue as your second- Fiji has the absolute best views on property IMHO.

And you're right you'd better watch yourself around us - some of us have a terrible case of switcheritis! I switched 18 times over a few months during the free dining promotion... It was really really bad. I lost track of my dates and had to call CRO to find out when we were staying where.

We're mostly a codes, rates and discount group, who just happen to want to stay everywhere all at once!

Last June we decided to book a trip, so we started with a split stay at ASMu and POFQ. Then my mom decides to go and wants to stay AKL CL for a couple days. So, I extend our stay at ASMu and trade POFQ for AKL CL. In August, Mom has second thoughts and decides to bail on us. So, back to our original plan. Then DS sees the pictures of the new pirate rooms at CBR and begs to stay there part of the time. So, I call and switch the ASMu portion of our trip to CBR pirate room. Then DH says I could probably change a day or two back to AKL CL but, before I decide, I could also take the extra money and put a downpayment on a new travel trailer we had our eye on as we love to camp. Also, because of the new camper expense, we would have to drop down to FW and camp during our vacation. After much thought, the trailer was too good to pass up, so I called back and cancelled both existing reservations and booked a premium site at FW. Then the 4/3 deal comes out and with the cost of fuel to drive down, we would actually save a bit by staying in a moderate. So, I call again and book a week at POFQ (and with the superbowl promo I got 5nts. at RPR at Universal too). Then DS mentions Star Wars weekends and we add a couple days to the begining of our POFQ stay so we can go to the last weekend. I thought we were all set,until DH decides to surprise me last week for my 40th BD and changed all 9nts. at POFQ to AKL CL! I swear I am not calling and changing that!

"NEED" to change? That's a relative term...

I'm the one who switched from WL to Poly. We love the WL, however, we really get spoiled by the monorail and walkway to TTC and we're already staying on Bay Lake at the CR (split-stay) so... I made the switch. If you have never stayed at the WL, you should try it, the lobby is spectacular and everything is under one roof, which is nice when it's pouring.

Trying something different is good, but sometimes there's nothing wrong with sticking with a sure thing.

Let us know what you end up doing!

Wow! That's a lot of changes! It's so cool that your DH changed it to AKL CL - I heard it's really nice staying CL at AKL!

Don't be too concerned - but given a choice between WL and Poly I personally would pick Poly. But since you've already done Poly you really should change (it's what we're all about )

I've heard a rumor that WL is really lovely and has good restaurants there too!
