Resort Changers--The Saga Continues.....

I have to admit, I am a resort changer too. I'm not sure what happned this trip, our last trips I never changed anything at all.

But let's see, 4/3 came out and we booked CSR King room, love the look of the renovated rooms. I was really excited about it....but then as I was researching I came upon the new BWI rooms . Then I started doubting my choice, what if we didn't get a renovated room, I really didn't like the old style at all, what if we hated it, and there were a few bad reviews out there (I know that can happen with any resort)...and there was availability to switch to BWI!

I really didn't know what to do, but I talked to DBF about it and he said we should change. Only now BWI wasn't available!

So I booked BC, I had heard on the boards that there was a sneaky trick you could do, book extra days and drop them off and still get the deal

But the CM's wouldn't let me . If we extended our trip by a day we could stay at WL the whole time, DBF said he'd rather do this, so I booked that. So now we have 3 Disney reservations!

Then the last night of the 4/3 deal I was able to get GF GV for Sun-Sun, and we would do CSR for the Sat before. Now we have 4 Disney Reservations!

Well now all I had to do was call Disney back and cancel the ones I didn't want. The CM seemed really confused, she was like, why didn't you just call to change them, but I really couldn't since I always seemed to find these deals after CRO was closed for the night and didn't want to miss out! I also only told her about 3 of the reservations the other one was booked with AAA so she didn't need to know about that

Poly value would make me very happy. By the way, you have less than a week before you go!!! (I'm break dancin')

I know! We leave Thursday morning for the drive down - I cannot wait to get to the Poly. My kids will be so surprised when they find out that's where we're staying!

Are you still at SSR? Have you tried for a Treehouse Villa yet?

More options yes, and they are at SSR, and your discounts are with SSR, correct? See where I'm going with this one?

I'm going to try it myself as soon as I remember to call MS.

And - they are bookable as a 2 bedroom unit as well, not a three. (Even though they have three bedrooms)

This is like dangling a piece of pie in front of someone on weight watchers! I'm going to call in the morning....early!!!!!!!!!! There are only 4 of us but hey, let see what they come up with! The fun is in the booking .

You guys crack me up. I am already planning my next trip and I haven't even gone on the first one yet.

I am not making any more resort changes but have made daily ADR changes...I think I have a problem.

Can you drive by my house and pick me up too???? I am great on road trips and I wouldn't mind staying at the Poly if I have to ....

But it looks like my resort changing problem is not cured.

Having decided Pop, then CSR, then POFQ and then deciding I was definitley happy with POFQ.

I have now upgraded to AKL.

I am finally super excited and not doubting my resort choice, so fingers crossed it wont change!!!

Hooray for AKL! My favorite resort... uh....so far.... I finally got to stay there last year and my next conquest is BC. Have you looked at BC? (Not to tempt you )

Yeah, looks lovely!! We will certainly have a good look around all of the deluxes in August. But the prices for BC/YC for our trip are more $$ than the poly - so we wont be staying there this trip for sure!

I am still at Kidani and BCV for May...

Changed to Kidani for part of my Sept trip too! But that was the ONLY part I was willing to change for Sept Need to be in Epcot's backyard for F & W!

Okay, you can switch to YC, BWI, Swan or Dolphin and still be in Epcots back yard....just in case you get the itch to switch.

ok, tweaked my trip next month....

BCV was open for my Sat night....and VWL for my first night..which totally works out for my ADR's at Chef Mickeys and Crystal Palace and our Wishes cruise we just booked!
I can NEVER say never..as far as resort changing goes, there is no help for me!
So VWl for arrival night, then BCV the rest of our stay....

Really wanted to stay at Kidani..but with our MK days being the first 2 days and our ADR's..wanted to be closer to MK, so glad it worked out!
I will get to stay at Kidani in Sept..
I think I really did lose count of all my changes this trip

I think you should.

I'm going to give it a try! Especially since it counts as a two bedroom and you get three. But the drawback is that it is off the beaten track.

My husband wants me to call and see if we can use our code for the tree houses. I love the idea of 3 bd's, but far away from the pools and busses
The kids think they look cool too, I think I'm out numbered, I might have to call & check it out
