Resort Changers--The Saga Continues.....

So where are you guys? Any changes yet?

So far I've priced out (but NOT booked) SSR 1 bdr, GF, CSR, POR, AsMo, POP, and last but not least WL. I've also priced out our current package (still at Poly) with 1 day base + DVC discounted AP's and the DDP, and the whole shebang as a RO.

So what's new with y'all?

Ha! I've had a few trips like that - Mod to Deluxe and then to Value! POP is a fun place to stay anyway, and the food is really good there. Upgrades are good...

DBride, great pictures. Was your room a studio or a 1 br.? I keep thinking about BC and Contemporary OR BLT. I keep remembering WL and how nice it was to be so close to MK with a choice in transportation. I LOVED it. I would love to be at an Epcot resort for the same reason. We love, love love DHS and Epcot and would love the quick access. UHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH, I REALLY want to change today. My DS want Contepmorary................. SSR is such a good deal. I've been avoiding this thread because I'm fighting the change bug that has been brewing.... The pictures of SSR make me happy about the resort BUT.......location, location, location is running through my mind!! (HELP)

You could always call and book it, and then not pay the deposit!

The pictures of SSR are great! Believe it or not, we have had ressies at POFQ since January and made no changes. Paid them off this weekend (trip in May). Every time I look at other resorts, especially their pools, I get to thinking, well, maybe I should.... I think I just like to look at other pools and think what it would be like to stay there. And I don't spend that much time in the pool! I sticking with POFQ!

Hi everyone! I think I qualify as a resort changer

We are heading to WDW in June. In January, we booked ASMus for 1 week. About two weeks after that we upgraded to CBR. Another two weeks later we upgraded to the Poly. We sat at the Poly for a good month but then eventually made a change to SSR for two weeks.


Did I mention this is our first trip? I think I need help!

Well, my daughter decided that she missed WDW, so we're going back in 16 days. I made the reservation for the Carribbean Beach.
After about 5 minutes, I started second guessing myself, so I called back and changed to a 1 bd club level at the Beach Club.
That's pretty much a record for me.

Before that DH kept telling us that we could afford it blah blah....

Then we got a pin! I sold it to him hook line and sinker! The only problem was I didn't expect him to say yes as fast as he did before I could really research anything we booked POP. About weeks later we found out that we had a 40% off pin, so I moved us to Wilderness Lodge. About 2 weeks after that I got cold feet about the money and moved us again and for the final time to Coronado Springs. We have had all 3 types of the dining plan booked at some point and well as both types of tickets!

I do think that we have finally found the right combo... Now if the free dining does come out then I will be calling and changing back to the rack rate and getting the free dining added!

Ok, I switched again this evening. I called this morning and only 1 lagoon view room at the GF but since my daughter is now taking 2 friends, I needed 2 connecting rooms. This afternoon on a whim while driving to pick her up at school, I called WDW. Much to my surprise 2 rooms lagoon view opened up and the CM put traveling with on our reservations, so we have connecting rooms!
So, since Sunday night:
CBR 7 days water view about 5 o'clock changed my mind 5 minutes later and

3 nights Beach Club 1 bd suite club level about 5:10
3 nights RPR

Today Grand Floridian 2 connecting rooms, lagoon view

This is my solemn vow: I will not change my resort again unless a suite opens at CSR.

Havent changed my ticker yet though! No more GF, will have to be another time! Just to much cash to fork over when I have DVC pts that can be used!!! We are still at BCV , but are first 2 nights arent...not telling yet..lol..cause I am on the waitlist, and may change what I currently have!

Pinnochio and I must be related because last night a 1bd suite at the GF became available and I booked it. It's better with that room because my daughter and her friends are teenagers. It just feels safer.

Okay DB, you HAVE to give us details. It's just not fair to tease us like this. Where are you wait listed? I think tomorrow there will be a lot of changes going on with the anticipation of FD for Disney Visa card holders. Stay tuned.

Ok...I have BCV for all nights, except for one, I am waistlisted for that...I am lucky I got the one. I had SSR for the first 2...but now am thinking just stay in the ame resort all nighats and make it easy for all of us!
