My thoughts exactly!
Hello resort changers! I need to join you because I feel another change urge creeping up. Here's alittle background on my addiction.
We stayed at the Poly for our 1st WDW vacation last Sept. Before we left we booked the BB, free dining and 30 percent off SSR or OKW. We ended up booking the Poly again because there was no availability at the villas.
Our first change was to the Beach Club(standard room)the kids would love the pool and you can't beat the location! Then I started thinking about the great deal of the stacked discount at SSR. The urge took over and I switched to a 2 bedroom at SSR. Well, now I am wondering if I made the right choice??? A 2 bedroom would be great and SSR looks beautiful, but the pool & location of the beach club?????Oh, what to do???![]()
Welcome!!A 2 bdr will be devine at SSR!! You may not have the location...but the space...and the ability to have some meals, and to do laundry.(some despise that notion, but I love the convenience with a family)
YOu came to the right place!![]()

Yes....I did the BB with the FD and 30% off.
I had origionally booked a 2 bedroom at BCV but when I realized the price difference when I got home I quickly switched to SSR.(We saved just over 2200.00!!!! It ended up paying for all 7 flights out of Toronto!!)![]()
We love it at SSR. Even though the BCV and BWV are equally as nice I like the peace and quiet of SSR and its proximity to DTD. Very easy to resort hop.
I think I may become a resort changer - I have booked POP for 14 nights in September but thinking of upgrading to POFQ (only works out an extra $420), but then if the rumours are true and they close down POFQ because of the economy - I will be even more of a resort changer without trying to be![]()
I am now on my 3rd change. I really need some help!!! I have a problem and I admit it. Now.
Dear Abby,
Started with the Poly for May 2009. My sister and her family decided to join us. I switched to POP cuz that is what she can afford. She has now decided to stay off site cuz it's cheaper for her brood of 10 and so I called and switched to the BC. I am hopeless bcuz I am starting to regret choosing the BC. It seems huge and I really want to be near the MK. Right now there isn't anything available for the 4/3 deal at any of the MK resorts.
Will I be happy at the BC? My party is 1 adult - me, my 3 kids 14, 12, 10 and possibly my nephew 16. Those day beds don't look very comfy like the ones at the GF. What to do, What to do?
Signed: Confused daily
Seriously, I really am confused about which resort to stay at. I even thought about going with 2 rooms at CBR but then again - I really want a monorail resort. Oh well...sigh....
Actually I have a standard room booked under the 4/3 deal. So I am sure my 16 yr old nephew will be sleeping on the day bed. He's a pretty big kid - will it be comfy for him?
I thought I was cured, but I'm afraid NOT. I just cancelled my reservation at the Dolphin. I had convinced myself that it would be perfect. Now I don't know. So back to planning and rethinking.![]()
I think all the disney resorts have something great to offer, but what is the stacked discount at SSR, inquiring minds need to know!!Hello resort changers! I need to join you because I feel another change urge creeping up. Here's alittle background on my addiction.

What was it you loved about the FW cabins? The Poly is great, but probably very different that FW? If you need encouragement about switching - you have come to the right placeI think I may be a resort changer. Our first trip to WDW was in Dec 2007. In Aug 2006 I booked The Poly. I just couldn't get excited about it so in March 2007 I changed it to FW cabins. We just loved it but DH asked that next time we go he wanted to be on the monorail line. So we are now booked Dec 2009 at The Poly. I still am afraid that I will miss FW Cabins too much. I am still thinking about changing but I guess I will wait and see if a deal makes us change or not. Anyway I am glad to see that I am not the only one.
I think that rumour about POFQ is just a rumour since they are booking rooms there currently through 2009 - but what do I know. Choose what you love! Worst case is you booke POFQ and your category is not available, then they offer you an upgrade - it could happenI think I may become a resort changer - I have booked POP for 14 nights in September but thinking of upgrading to POFQ (only works out an extra $420), but then if the rumours are true and they close down POFQ because of the economy - I will be even more of a resort changer without trying to be![]()
Keep trying. Maybe something will open up at the MK? I've read that the garden rooms at CR are the least expensive rooms that sleep 5 at the deluxes! I called a gazillion times to make my dates and get that darn package. It was worth all the effort too!I am now on my 3rd change. I really need some help!!! I have a problem and I admit it. Now.

You will be very crowded in any room with 5 people. If I were you, I'd book 2 rooms at either CSR or CBR. The day beds are small at both the GF and the BC or see if you can book a 2 bd at the villas.
At the end of a long day, you'll appreciate a little more room.
Welcome everybody to the RCS! You are among friends!!!

Oprah is ruining my plans. I've been waiting for an August discount to come out so I could splurge and stay at a monorailresort or the BC and Oprah has this show on about the economy and changing our spending...![]()
Now I feel as if I need to be more frugal!!!!
Oprah has more money than god. Ignore her and book a monorail resort - it will help the economy in the long run, right?![]()
