Resort change?

My family and I (4 adults and a 4 year old) are heading to WDW next October/November and have two rooms booked at POR right now. Today, I was poking around the WDW site and saw that Coronado Springs rates are cheaper right now for that period (they weren't when I booked it). Overall, we would save about $200 per room for the length of stay. We've stayed at both and now we can't decide which one we would rather stay at. I'm just looking for reasons for/against staying at either resort. Thanks!

If you've stayed at both, then you can decide if you like POR $400 more than CS. Do you like the rooms better at one vs the other? Which works better for you for food options? Which is easier to gat around? Which theme appeals to you more? I have never stayed at CS because its theme is too much like Southern California, where I live. I love POR, but for $400 l would switch in a heartbeat!

Love CSR, but have not stayed at POR, do can't CV compare, but unless you really liked one much better than the other, I'd definitely save the money! They are also returning the rooms at CSR, so that is another reason to stay there and check those out.

CSR has more food options overall (food court, limited menu at pool bar, and two table-service options, one of which is signature), more breakfast options (food court, table service, and pool bar), three bars (indoor full-blown bar/lounge with dance floor, lakeside bar, and pool bar), and later open times (pool bar closes at 9, food court closes at 11, grab-and-go closes at midnight.) CSR also never shares buses and is centrally located such that no park is more than 10-minutes away (MK and AK), with Epcot and DHS being a 5-minute ride away. (CSR is literally across the street from the back of DHS.) The only reason I can see to choose POR over CSR is if you think the theming at POR is worth paying an extra $200 vs. the theming at CSR.

If DS is part of your plans POR has the boat in addition to the bus. As of last year from 4:30-5:00 on the boat is no longer shared with POFQ.

I think i'd save the money and do a special experience at disney with it....

What is the Signatire restaurant at CSR?? I am unaware of a Signature there

Stayed at both and prefer CSR to POR, although they are both lovely. Unless the boatride to DSp is worth $400 to you, make the switch to CSR!
