Resort Change by Disney

We don't know when the Parks Reservation system will open. For Shanghai and Hong Kong, it opened just a few days before the Parks reopened. I highly doubt we'll see the reservation system opening in June.

June 22 for resort stays with tickets. It's in the News and Rumors thread and probably lots of other places by now.

Disney just released the dates for park reservations. It's Monday June 22 for people in Disney Select resorts. June 26 for annual pass holders and June 28 for people with existing tickets.

Does anybody know what time they will open the reservation system?

I would assume 7am, as that is what it has been for dining and fast passes in the past. But it doesn't specifically say.

So, as of right now it appears I can make park reservations on 6/22 for my more than likely closed resort stays at POR and Caribbean Beach that start on 7/10? Hoping this means they have a plan to put me somewhere!

7 am is when they open phone lines. But this is on MDE, so I wonder when?

I don't think my heart could handle if I got the park reservations I want, only to not be able to come because my resort is closed. After I get those, I won't be able to contain my excitement.

I agree with everyone, this is absolutely crazy. There are so many of us in July who don't even know if we have a place to stay!!
I just don't understand why they don't release the resorts that will be open so we can try to make other arrangements if necessary. If we have to compete with everyone making new reservations, it gives us limited opportunity to move to an open resort.

A good source over on Cruise and theme parks has said resort news before Monday. Sounds like it could be anything, general announcement or next roll out of dates.

I called after hearing about the park reservations opening and was told that Monday I should be able to hear about my reservation for July 9-13. I still can't believe that I will be (hopefully) making park reservations when I don't know where I am staying. The CM I talked too said Monday I can make park reservations and will also be able to modify the trip so that I know where we will be staying. That seems like a lot of phone/website traffic for one day, but I guess we need to be optimistic...

I just have this gut feeling that those of us at unannounced resorts are going to have to either pay the upgrade or cancel. I don't see how they could possibly move all of us free of charge.
We are at POP starting July 27th....and I will be praying for either an opening or free upgrade this weekend.

I hope not i cant afford anymore and that's not right since it's not our fault Pop is closed.
If Disney would just let us know we are covered I could then wait with patience but not knowing is upsetting

Where is your current resort reservation at? I am just wondering if we can figure out from those who have been told they need to move and those that have not been contacted.

What would the approximate cost increase going from a POP reservation to a DVC reservation if required to upgrade? I currently have a reservation starting on July 11th at POP.

I’m at pop 7/10-7/20. I haven’t been contacted. I have tried calling 3 times with no luck over the past two weeks.

I have not heard anything!! I can't believe the reservations would open on Monday without knowing my options at this point.
