Hi All,
So I'm not sure if this is against Disney's rules so if it is, please feel free to let me know! I am able to book the room I want (garden wing) at the contemporary for 7 nights in my time frame. However, I don't want 7 nights I want 6. If I book it now for the 7 nights am I able to edit the reservation and drop a night?
Thanks
Jess

It appears that sometimes they can get Guest Services involved to do this for you. Sometimes they expect you to cancel and rebook (subject to availability).

In the past it use to be no problem, but last year they started making the person cancel their reservation and then try to re-book it. As mom2rtk mentioned guest services can do it BUT I also read where they also refused to just drop 1 night. I think this may be rare, but it is a possibility.

That stinks. I have my flights booked already and it would be really expensive to fly back the next day anyways when you factor in extra food, hotel, and parking plus flight fees for the extra day. But I have my heart set on staying at the Contemporary
