Resort booking question... Please help!

Hello All!!

ok... so i was one of the lucky ones to get a postcard for 59.00 a nighy for a value... the day i got it i called and they were already sold out!! Bummer!! :sad2:

BUT we did get a little pixie dust when the CM told us that they did have some rooms left with the BUL code.. 69.00 a night.. we were happy about that! :woohoo:

so we told him we prefered Pop century our favorite value resort and he told us that there were no rooms avaliable for our dates Bummer again. :sad2:

.. so we ended up booking 6 nights at All star sports for 69.00 a night with a total of 467.30... not bad!!
He told us to call back and see if they have an opening at pop, or an opening with the post card code... what are my chances of that happening??? we have been calling back daily and nothing yet... do you think it can be done??? and do i only have until July 28th when the code expires?? this is my first time booking with a code.. so any advice would be greatly apreciated!

Yes, it is possible.
In 2005 we had our hearts sat on staying at ASmo,well it was booked. They gave us ASMu. My TA called once a week for a month, and guess what we got into ASMo.

It's totally possible! Especially when you get closer to the 45-day deadline and people cancel. Keep on trying if it's important to you

Can you get the code if a room opens even if the time to book is past - it will be past the deadline of the 28th by the time the 45 day payment deadline is there. I am wondering because I booked free dining at the BC last DEcember while there. I would like to change to the POLY, but the deadline was past.... and there were none of those packages left at the POLY...

Well, I had almost the exact same thing happen. Called with the postcard, found out they were sold out but did get a room at Sports for $69. I really had my heart set on Pop but thought I'd book Sports and just keep trying. I checked for a couple days and Pop finally opened up so I got to make the switch. This was just a couple weeks ago and it only took me a couple days of checking so don't give up hope!

Don't give up! Call more than once. My in-laws decided to join us for my DD's birthday after I had made reservations for everyone else at POP Century during Free Dining last year. It took my about a week to get all of the days that they wanted and then my sister decided that she needed a second room. *sigh*

all i can say is WOW!!! :banana:

ask for some Magic and it happens!!! I GOT A ROOM AT POP!!!! So here is what happend.... I was searching throught expedia to see if they have a room and nothing.... then i tried travelocity and there was a room for Pop at69.00.... i think i peed my pants! Jumping up and screaming!! so i think called disney and asked if they had any rooms avaliable at pop like i have been doing for what seems foreveri thought hey they have them on there maybe they have some.. and she tells me that things like that don't happen often but she would check.... so checked and told me no rooms with that code....just at normal rate! so i booked the room on travelocity and will be canceling my reservation through disney... i have never made a reservation through travelocity so i was a little uneasy canceling the one through disney right away....
has anyone booked through them??? they didn't even ask me the names of the people in the room...don't they normally??? and would disney have this reservation or do i deal with travelocity now???
