that's what happened with us too...we got a packet under the door while we slept, detailing room charges and it had our boarding passes etc all done! then we just walked out stuff down to RAC and left it....couldn't have been easier!
I was shocked to find on the day of our departure that the hotel had done check in for us!!!! And it was awesome because I woke up that morning and remembered that I had forgotten to do it! When we opened our door, our boarding passes had been printed by the WL and hung on our door...not sure if that's uniform procedure now but it has never happened to us before.![]()

It should be noted you should NOT do check-in the day before, except with the whole SW thing.
If you do, you will be locked out of the system and cannot use RAC the next day. It is another wonderful perk the resorts provide.
What do you mean by the "whole SW thing"? SW as in Southwest airlines? We are flying Southwest in Oct for the first time. What do I need to know?

I think the pervious poster is referring to how southwest does seating on their flights. Instead of being assigned a seat, it is open seating. This means whoever boards first gets the pick of their seats. When you board is determined by when you check in (for regular travelers). (Those who are business travelers, who purchase early bird checkin, or have special needs get to board first.) So it is to your advantage to check in with southwest as early as possible in the 24 hour period.
OH! That is good to know!! Thanks!

This time we are flying Delta and I have the Delta Visa card so we get first bag checked for free. Do we just provide this information to the resort when doing the check-in and the bags are no charge? Thanks!

Yes, RAC is part of BAGS and has nothing to do with the resort.
