Resort advice - POFQ vs CBR

I haven't stayed at CBR but have stayed a couple of times at POFQ and CSR. I just got back from POFQ and while it was nice and our room location perfect (right by the bus stop and food court), I found myself missing CSR. The pool there is just amazing! This may be a little thing but it bothered me that I couldn't get my mug refilled at the pool bar at POFQ. I love being able to grab a bite to eat and get my mug filled by the pool at CSR. Also, the beds at CSR just seemed more comfortable! Both times I have stayed at POFQ my bed has been hard as a rock and not very comfortable.
The huge plus to POFQ was the boat ride to Disney Springs. That was so much fun and so convenient. Bus service was also not as good at POFQ as it was at CSR. I really missed that excellent bus service!

We've never stayed at POFQ, but we loved everything about CBR. We found the caribbean atmosphere very relaxing and while the main pool does get busy, (like all Disney resort pools), another option would be the quiet pool. Each "village" has its own quiet pool if you prefer to relax pool side with a little less chaos/noise. This isn't to say those pools don't have kids, but we found there to be far less kids there than at the main pool. With all of that said, I'm sure you'll have a great time no matter which resort you choose. Good luck .

There is a reason why POFQ never gets any of the discounts. But I usually encourage everyone on here to go to CSR and CBR. That way I can enjoy the laid back atmosphere that is the French Quarter with fewer screaming bandito's. Look out Mardi Grog's, I am coming back!

We loved CSR! We wanted something not overrun with kids too and it was perfect.
