Resident Question - Twofers, Costco or AP?

I'm in LA until May and I play on going to DL a few times (probably at least once a month) I can't decide which would make more sense financially. The AP has a lot of blackout dates (I'd get the Standard Passport - every Saturday is blocked out while I'm here) but it also has the discounts and the parking option. I like that I can upgrade the Twofer to a PH, so that gives me to PH's for $91. But then again, if I go 4 times, using 2 PH Twofers, that will cost 182, more than an AP (but I could go on Saturdays) If I go more than 4 times, the cost would be huge.
There's also the Costco Play 4 Times option. Can I upgrade those to PHs? Because that might make the most sense.
Any advice? Any options that I'm missing? I suppose if I just went to DL on a Sunday or weekday, the AP would be the best, but then theres the question of "should I get the parking pass?"

i'd get the AP, if you plan to go a lot of saturdays, splurge, if not, pay the 30 bucks to go on a blockout date. . the parking alone saves you. . . and you also get discounts on food, so look at that aspect as well. . .

Just so you know: the parking is not free on a blockout date for your AP.

see that is why we all work as a team around here (normally). . . I have a premium pass I would never have thought about the parking not being part of it on a block out date. . .

The only reason I know this is because when I verified my AP, the CM very rudely informed me that parking was not included should I come on a blackout date. I didn't even think about it be honest

And the blockout pass is $40 now.

Get a pass if plan to go alot. Just don't go on Saturdays and get your moneys worth by visiting even for short periods on weekdays. Don't feel you have to do everything in one day, do it in increments.

We got burned on the parking thing for a blockout recently. On the 27th recently in December we all went planning to pay the $40 for the blockout because of out-of-town visitors with us and low and behold I assumed my parking would work but no, not on a blockout. I have the second from the bottom pass with parking and it is great as we never choose to go on busy saturdays anyway.

As it worked out Disneyland was sold-out that day and for the first time ever we could not get in, no matter what so we bailed on the parking and went to DD for some food.

The good thing abput the AP is that you don't stress not doing things because you can just come back whenever and also it motivated you to go use it and that results in more visits to Disneyland!
