We spent 1 evening here prior to moving to Cheyenne. I was impressed for £72 i had b+b for 4 adults, was also quoted £69 for room only, no brainer really. It's functional i could easily spend longer there. If I wanted to be picky we only had 1 teaspoon and theres no kettle. I found it noisy at night, but we had our windows wide open and our room overlooked the road, i'm sure it wouldntbe a problem with the windows closed.
Check in was easy, both receptionists we met were leasant and helpful. Taxi from here to cheyenne was 20 arranged by reception. We also used the free bus.
Our room had a bedroom with 1 double and 1 single. And a double sofa bed inthelounge, this suggests to me that it could sleep 5, but since I've been home i've tried to price up a room online for 5 people and i'm told there isnt 1 available
What else to add, comfy beds and free wifi. Breakfast was equivalent to Cheyenne and Santa Fe, with the addition of pain au raisins and individual fruit yoghurts, breakfast room is quite small but we got a table straight away. Its got some lovely images from Paris on the walls, ideal if you're planning a trip into the city and need inspiration of what to see.
Surroundings, it seemed like a nice area, we felt safe walking around late in the evening. Auchan supermarket is amazing, I could take my mother for a day out there, we bought crisps and sandwiches and coca cola with blood orange in there and prices are comparable to the uk. We didnt get time to shop in the mall, but i would love to go back. Sea Life was ok, only went because i got cheap tickets on groupon, we spent an hour in there. The pub Lynette posted a pic above is very nice L'Agape, menu looked lovely although we didnt eat there, we did make use of their outdoor seating area and Happy Hour cocktails and beers
