residence inn?

I have read the reviews of this hotel on tripadvisor, but would like some opinions from the folks on this board.... I have never been steered wrong from anyone here!!! How is the Residence Inn? We will be in a 2 BR with bunks in one BR/king in one BR and a full kitchen. How far is this place to DLR, how was the breakfast and how is the room/pool/hottub quality? Thanks!!

We really like Residence Inn in general, but have never stayed at the one near DLR. Here is a map FYI:

The walking distance to the Residence Inn is usually described as 20 minutes by people who have stayed there. It can be done, but it is not that close.

we stayed there just this past week! we booked the same type of room set up as you have. the houskeeping service was great.
-my DH took the kids to the pool and he said it was nice, especially the hot tub. the suroundings are very nice too.
-the breakfast was very good i thought. lots to choose from (eggs, french toast, bacon, cereal, yogurt, waffels, etc)
-we walked the first day but took the shuttle for the rest of the time during our stay. it comes every 20 minutes; and if it's overloaded they just added another bus to follow so everyone could get a ride. it's not far to walk at all - about 10 or 15 minutes.

overall, i'd definitaly stay there again

so much! I was having worries about it being too far to walk to the parks. We will have a car, but we will probably split up, and it will be easier if us early risers can just walk. And my DH will definatly enjoy the breakfast!
