Looks like we might be making a trip to Disneyland in end of April and I'm planning to use Marriott checks for the stay. We've given my son choice of birthday party or birthday trip to Legoland and Disneyland and I'm hoping he'll go for the trip.:thumbsup2

Was wondering if anyone had an opinion on which Marriott location in Anaheim would be best. Fairfield or Residence Inn, or even Courtyard? We're looking going just for Fri-Mon, staying in Anaheim, but driving to Legoland on Saturday. I've stayed at Fairfield and I'm leaning towards Residence Inn - thinking the accommodations will be a little bigger/nicer. And that maybe it will still be walkable to the parks?

Does anyone have a reviews on Residence Inn or Courtyard?

Also...we're looking at last week in April or first week in May...which would be better?

Thanks for your help!

Residence Inn Maingate gets great reviews on this site. You are right that it will be a lot roomier than the Fairfield, and they offer full breakfast, and will even do your grocery shopping for you while you are at the parks.

It is a bit further to walk, but still doable. About 15 minutes or .75 mile. If you look at this map, it's on the corner of Disney Way and Clementine.

Between end of April and beginning of May, I'd say beginning of May will be less crowded. April is the end of the two-fer deal as well as the 2 days free deal, so many people will be fitting in last minute trips to take advantage of the discounts.
