DVC will make an effort to accommodate reasonable requests. Some other timeshare systems don't take any requests. But there are no guarantees unless you are booking a specific view (standard, Boardwalk, MK, etc), classification of unit (e.g. AKV Club), or booking category (e.g. OKW Hospitality House area).
My experience has been that if I request ONE thing, I usually get it.
If you put in half a dozen requests, the room scheduler has no idea what you really want -- so I would keep it as simple as you can.
I missed the word "request" in your post. Sorry. Of course you can request anything you want. I originally thought your question was asking if you could book that vs. request that.
You can email Member services to do that - or call but being from the UK the email probably is easier.
There also are a few request options if you do online check-in but if we make requests we almost always do it with Member services since the selection online are mostly not applicable for DVC rooms. OKW is the exception IMO.
