Reserving DME ????

Hi everyone -
I posted this over on the transportation board but maybe it would be a better question for this board since it involves DVC.

We're going to WDW on October 23rd and thought I would get my DME luggage tags and give them flight information. I'm staying at OKW - renting a DVC member's points.

Tried to search for the phone number I call but just got more confused - sorry

Can someone please give me the phone number I call to begin the process of giving them my flight info and getting my luggage tags. Do I call Disney or DVC ??

Here's the answer I posted on the Transportation board:

For any reservations made at DVC resorts with DVC points, the arrangements for Disney's Magical Express (DME) need to be initiated through DVC Member Services. I would recommend asking the DVC member from whom you are renting to assist you.

Once the DME arrangements are in the system, you can call DME at 1-866-599-0951 with questions or to update flight information in your DME record. (The DME CMs don't have direct access to the DVC computer system, which is why DVC MS needs to put the record into the DME system.)​

You can also register for Magical Express at this website. I did it last night and it is very slick. You need you reservation #, your flight #'s and the names of everyone on your flight. There is also the option of adding additional people on different flights.

You can also make you ME reservations online on the DVC website. They will send you a email confirmation in a few days.

Not currently available for me either.

To anyone who has used it successfully, did you have DVC reservation with DVC points? Or was it a regular reservation?

You can also make you ME reservations online on the DVC website. They will send you a email confirmation in a few days.

On the Transportation board, the OP indicated that this reservation involved points rented from a member. Only the member would have access to the DVC Member-only website.
