Never noticed this before, but you can now reserve a parking spot at the different Pearson parking lots, through the GTAA website. I even think there is a small discount.

I prefer parking at the value lot or the Viscount parking garage and several times they have been full and had to use Park N Fly. ( I hate waiting for their shuttles on the return, the train is so much easier)

March break we are leaving on Saturday afternoon, and now I don't have to stress about a parking spot as it is reserved, and I know by then it will be full.

If you haven't already booked your spot i recommend looking at Skyway Parking. They are much cheaper than any option at Pearson, have dedicated, on-demand shuttle services AND you can pre-book as well. They have what they call "personal care" parking (think Valet) where you park your own car and it remains in that spot until you return BUT since they still keep your keys it will be ready for you upon your return --- brushed off and warm in the winter or cool in the summer. We're leaving our car there for almost 3 full weeks and it will cost us $131 + HST.

Yes, the reserved parking only appeared online within the past few months. I agree, if you're going during March break, trying to find a spot in the terminal garage can be horrendous.

I've been using the terminal garage on my past 2 trips, and have booked it on my next 2, because of the discounts and convenience. On my November 2016 trip, I booked the parking in T1, then a promo code came in that I was able to apply against my existing reservation. All done online...no hassle. Hopefully, the discounts and promos keep coming.

Enjoy your next magical experience!

I did not have a great experience at Skyway. It was not terrible, but I'm not sold on them yet.

Drop off is not an issue. You go to the office at the front, pre-pay for your time, and the shuttle leads you to your spot. The lot is not entirely paved, so it seems kind of dodgy, but it's fine - but it's not what I'm used to after going to park n fly and the GTAA parking.

Pick up, however, was kind of a hot mess. It took about 30 minutes to get picked up, and that was after 3 calls. Car seemed to acquire a lot of dirt just by sitting there - a side effect of the gravel lot - but not a big issue. Realistically, it's not the way you want to end your vacation, and it soured me on them.

Again, nothing overly terrible about Skyway. I've heard stories about other small airport parking operations that are much worse than "very late shuttle" so I would not discourage people from using them.

I will likely try them again at some point (don't want my opinion to be fully clouded based on one visit) but my go-to lot will still be the Park n Fly Valet. It's more expensive than Skyway (and usually cheaper than the Viscount garage) but they have been very reliable for me. And at the end of the day, I can live with a higher price point for that.

I think I am cheap.
March Break
I usually travel early morning--grab one last cup of Canadian coffee,,inhale a bit of fresh canadian air:cold:.

And that is exactly the same problem we had with the Park n Fly -- we got in around 1 am -- took close to 40 minutes till a shuttle came that had room for us and when we finally got back to our car, it needed to be chiseled out of the spot and we don't carry a shovel in our car!! Wasn't pleasant ...

The lot not being paved isn't a problem for us because like @bababear_50 we're CHEAP and use the lowest of the low level of Park n Fly and that sucker is forever away and full of potholes. Being gone for so long this time none of the other options can even touch Skyway and couple that with them cleaning the car off and digging it out -- we get back after 1 am again in early February-- and that sold me. Ask me when we get home if i'll use them again or not, who knows!

My preference is the Value Garage but for this trip it would be close to $400.00

Agreed. I would never recommend the PnF economy lot as I've not had the greatest experiences there either. Its night and day when you compare economy and valet, to be honest.

Hi, we used the reserved space in the Pearson garage last March break with the discount being offered. It was so nice when returning to have a quick getaway. Have done Park and Fly economy before not bad when leaving, terrible on return, long wait for a packed shuttle. Lot not plowed well, car almost stuck in snow . We are leaving on Saturday a.m. of our March break so I will try the garage again if they have a discount.

The first time I booked Pearson Parking online was August 2015. I don't recall ever seeing it there before, but it could have been there for years. There are some deals I noticed since then, but I haven't been able to take advantage of it. I get a couple of emails advertising some deals. But it always seems to have a very small discount every time I check it. I haven't used a promo code, but I'm always waiting for one. Sometimes the value lot is the same price as the garage lot and we've taken advantage of that a couple of times. But that's the best deal I've had...not great, but something.

I had the same discount park in garage for the same price as the value lot, was nice not to have a snow covered car!

I reserved a spot at the value park garage and when I got there it was full. Grrr. Only spots left were on the roof so I will be coming home to a snow covered car.

We used Skypark on our last trip and found it to be an excellent choice.

We had valet parking for the 7 days for under $60.

We parked outside their office and went inside to pay. When we came out there was a shuttle waiting to take us to terminal 3 (their lot is about 3 minutes away). Upon arrival back in Toronto, we called the # they gave us as we exited customs. We had no checked luggage to pick up and still only had to wait for 5 minutes for the shuttle to arrive. When we got back to the lot our car was sitting waiting for us running and warm.

Sorry for digging up this old thread. I am looking for YYZ parking for March break. I can't find any discount code that will work for the economy parking at ParknFly. If I enter any code it will show no availability, but if I remove the code it will show me the regular price. Is it nornal?
Any other suggestions for parking at YYZ?

Do you have an Airmiles card? If so use this code :459273
Do you have a CAA card? If so at the bottom left of the reservation page click on "Add Optional Discount Code" and then enter you CAA number.

I'm not sure what the exact dates are for March Break this year but i chose 10th - 17th and i can get spots for Valet & Self-Park which are much higher than the Economy without coupon codes.

I have both, tried them with the date 11th to 21st. The econ has no availability with code, once code remove it shows the econ option. Does it means code is not good for econ parking?

We have used Skypark in the past with good results. I think our cost was around $60 for the week for valet parking. It is a quick 5 minute drive from Terminal 3. We dropped our car off at the office and when they picked us back up our car was running and warm out front.

Correct, the codes will work for the other 2 options of ParknFly but not the economy lot. If you don't have a problem with any of the things mentioned in this thread (terrible shuttle service, huge potholes, looong way from airport etc) then just book it without a code -- it's cheaper to book it online than it is to just show up. Personally i would prefer to pay a bit more based on our one (and only!) experience, it was not worth the $20 we saved when you combine all the negatives we dealt with at 1:30 am.
