Reservations Wanted: July 5-11

Hi everyone,

I'm a total newbie at this - actually JUST found out that I could do this and save some money but I need help.

We currently have reservations at The Wilderness Lodge for July 5-11 but it seems like we can save some money by cancelling these reservations and going with renting points.

Does anyone have enough points that we could buy to rent at The Wilderness Lodge Villas or possibly the Beach Club during those dates? Can you help me with pricing, etc.

I believe that I would incur a $100 penalty for cancelling my other (paid) reservations but I can deal with that if I can save as much money doing this as it looks like I can - or am I wrong?

Can you also please help me in terms of comparing a studio at a DVC to a resort room at The Wilderness Lodge.

Sorry about all the questions - but I am the kind of person to try to look at EVERY angle to see how I can make this the best vacation ever for my family. It is me, DH, and DS(8) and DS(5).

Thanks for any/all help. I feel completely overwhelmed trying to figure this all out.
