Just wondering if anyone has tried reserving their DVC stay through the online site? It does state that it may take up to 3 days to reply to your request, just wondering if they use your submit date in priority booking. If anyone can share their booking experience that would be great.
 
I wouldn't use it for extremely popular holiday bookings, or for resorts where there is limited availablility for certain room types. But I have used it for OKW bookings without any problem.
 
I've used it as well with no issues other than it took about a week for a response, a long week when you are waiting.
 
I have used it for OKW many times, including xmas weeks and have had no problems. I also have used their email option from the site to add names to a reservation or to have them confirm ADRs prior to our leaving for an upcoming trip. I also used it for HHI, but not during peak summer months..this you must do on phone and as close to your 11month or 7 month window(we bought HHI points to have an 11 month summer window).

About 3 weeks ago we decided to try for a reservation at the Wilderness Lodge for the 1st week of July. Our home resort is SSR. I used the online option to email member services and exactly 3 days later we got confirmation of the booking. I was surprised since we were already a month or so in to the 7-month window and had also heard 4th of July week is a busy week.
 
I booked our summer AKV trip on the website at about 10 months out. (2 seperate ressies: a 2BR for a week and a 1 BR for 2 nights.) I got the confirmation the next day. Super easy. We eventually swapped the 2BR week to BCV, but kept the 2 nights at AKV. (When I swapped to the BCV, it was on the phone, day by day.)
 
I used to use it when we only had one membership. Now that we have two and 3 different resorts. I find it much easier to call and explain where I want the points taken from.

But when I did use it, they responded in about 2 days and most of the time I received my first choice. But if I didn't, and my alternatives were available, they sent an email asking if I want to book it. I don't know how they do it now and I can imagine how much busier it is. The number of members grew exponentially since we joined.
