I am thinking of going over Memorial Day Weekend. At the Royal Pacific, I am getting a quote of $150 per night online with a vacation package (only including tix). When I call the 800 #, I am quoted a rate of $209 per night. The reservationist, who was not very helpful (ie forthcoming), said sometimes they run special rates on the internet. My only concern is that if I book the vacation package and want to cancel, there are $ penalties. Does this sound correct to anyone else, that rates online are so much cheaper than rates over the phone?
Thanks for your help.

First, are you sure that the rate you're getting on line is per room and not per person? Sometimes that is how they book packages.

Anyway, I think you could probably get a better rate booking your room and buying your tickets separately. Rates might be a bit higher over Memorial Day weekend, but I got a rate of $125 for a waterview room at the RPR using with the Entertainment Rate.
