Reservations Needed at Droid Depot after 7PM (early December)?

We're hoping to be at Hollywood Studios for the Evening in the first week or two of December. My Sis and I really like the idea of building a Droid, but we're park hopping and not positive of exact timing. What are the chances of being able to walk in without a Build-a-Droid reservation after 7PM on a weekday? Is Droid Depot usually really crowded at night, or does it seem possible that we may be able to build one?
