I made my on property reservations ( POR) through hotels.com and got my park hopper passes, 5 days for the cost of three, through Expedia. When/how can I get these reservations to my Disneyworld trip planner? Should I expect any different treatment when I check in?
:wave2:

No different treatment. To link the reservations for resort to MDE you need to get the Disney confirmation number from Hotels. Some people have said it comes in the email, typically 11 or 12 digits long and starts with a 4. If not you need to call them. Disney won't speak to you in regards to these reservations.

The tickets I haven't seen much success in linking, unfortunately. I've heard they don't show up in Disney's system until a few days before they are dated for.

I have booked through Expedia a few times, and the Disney confirmation number usually appears in the Expedia itinerary after 3-4 business days. Once it does, I don't have any problem linking it to my Disney account. You should also be able to link tickets purchased from an outside vendor (you might have to select the "other" option). It is true that Disney won't talk to you about your reservation - you have to go back through the company you booked through.

I have never been treated any differently, or felt that I was given a room in a poor location, when I booked through a TA, whether an online one like Expedia, or a Disney specialist such as those advertised here on the DIS.

I have not been successful getting the park passes onto my Disney account. I have linked the hotel stay and I have the magic bands. Which is very exciting. I have a voucher from Expedia for the park passes but my Disney does not recognize the numbers. It asks for a number beginning with four letters. Someone else said I just had to wait until I got to a ticket entrance to use the voucher and get them onto my magic bands. My concern is so many people setting up their fast passes already. And I have to just wait and watch. Will there still be good times for fast pass. It would be awesome to schedule three a day.

Given that FP+ is in testing it is not surprising that a Travel Agency reservation does not work yet. I don't think you will be able to do the advance reservations.

It will be interesting to see if Disney decides to provide a real ticket ID to these reservations or otherwise accomodates and when.

We did our trip through Travelocity. I called up Disney as my hotel res linked with no issues and my tickets did not. After going through 5 CMs there, they could not link the tickets to my Disney account and said it would have to be something to do once we arrived at the park. They said I could call Travelocity and see if I can get the "real" number, but I am sure the real number gets issued when we exchange it that at the park.

Its not so much I wanted FastPass+ to work now (would be nice), but that means another line to stand in once we get there. I'm sure it wont be a quick 2 minute thing either. All part of the "testing" I guess.
