Congrats! I know how you feel - we will be there Oct 25 to Nov 1, too. Now, just to decide where to eat for some of the meals!!

Are you still thinking of renting a TT or are you thinking of purchasing one of your own?

We normally go to the Food and Wine Festival at the end of Oct/beginning of Nov. This year we are going Oct 11th till Oct 18th. My oldest son is getting married on Nov 25th so we are going to that.........in Hawaii

Can't compete to Hawaii. Have a great time.
I only reserved a tent site. Not sure what we are planning to do. I don't think I'm ready for the TT yet with the kids still this young, esp somebody elses TT. It sounds perfect and as the time gets closer I'll look into it more. It would be nice and then I could possibly have my parents too. DH can still do his tent thing and we get the TT. Not planning on too much at the parks this year. Would like to take the kids to Sea World for the first time and just enjoy time at the Fort and what it has to offer, horseback riding, trails, GC, a few drinks each night...no worries for a week. Oh but we will do Halloween Party!

MNSSHP was SO much fun!! We went for the first time last year and plan on going back this year! We are staying at the Fort....going to Food & Wine with some adult friends and MNSSHP with the kids. :goodvibes

Can't wait!

Congrats! We will be there Oct.18-26! Can't wait, just paid off the site, and will be picking up the tickets this week from the base! Then I just have to wait to make my dining ressies and get my MNSSHP tickets and we will be all set. I like getting it all done ahead of time because then it doesn't hit the bank as hard, and all we have to worry about when we get there is spending money and livin the life! Have fun!!:cheer2:

I learned my lesson. That's why I booked so early. I wish I had done it last year. If I'm able to I will add the extras as I go. Like the dining plan. I haven't decided if I can or want to do it. I want to be able to go out and eat, so I don't have to on vacation, but I don't know if I want to go every time. I may break my reservation in 2 and do dining plan for half and not the other half. Any frequent fliers out there with insight. Tent camping, so no indoor cooking facilities. Is it more expensive to pay as you go if we go to a few places, like Hoop Dee Doo? Thanks.

We'll be there from 20 Oct till 1 Dec this year and this will be a first for us, both Halloween and Thanksgiving. We are hoping to do MNSSHP and DW has a really cute "Minnie" outfit, bloomers and all and for me I will be going as her "Handler" :thumbsup2 ... no comments please. :rotfl: :cool1: :lmao: :rotfl2:

She just found a pattern for a vest and just need to get some red/green/black plaid material and I will make a Disney type name tag that says "Minnie's Handler".
