Reservations for group?

Question, haven't been to DL in years. Extended family want to go together celebrating a sister's 50th.

Would it be important to make our reservations for the park(s) together as one big group (there may be 12-15 of us), or is it fine to make ticket purchases/reservations as say, 3 small separate groups?

Are you asking about DL - Disneyland in California or, WDW - Walt Disney World in Florida?

If you're asking about Florida then you can make reservations either way. If you need to change the reservations of some tickets, they are done individually, not as a group.

IThanks - I was asking about Disneyland in California. Just wondering if there are drawbacks to purchasing them separately, like if you are trying to get a "boarding group" for ROTR or Web Slingers?

You can link everyone I believe via the friends and family options. That should give you the ability to have everyone linked regardless of which combo tickets are purchased in.
