Reservations disappeared from dashboard

Of course - now our tickets/APs are gone from MDE (park ressies are still there) - gotta love Disney IT

The MDE system is overloaded this morning as they released room only discounts for July - September. I'd guess next time you go in the APs and Tickets will be back.

I have my reservation confirmation numbers practically tattooed on my wrist. (written in several places) Disappearing reservations in Dashboard drive me nuts and I never, ever trust Disney IT anywhere anymore. What a shame they are so bad it's shocking.

And the phone line waits for especially DVC should NOT happen. As many have said, DVC especially is a system based on planning ahead. Even though parks are at percentages (higher and higher I expect), DVC needs planning ahead. HIRE PEOPLE BACK, for cryin' out loud. And don't get me started trying to get IT or AP help. They are lovely, helpful people......JUST NEED MORE OF THEM.

Can you tell I've had disappearing reservations lately and leaving in days? The Costco size Excedrin bottle is on my desk as I type.

Are these disappearing reservations in MDE only or are they happening on the DVC website as well?

Everything is good now except sort sequence changed but It was just DVC and just for those of us with reservations under multiple UYs - MDE wasn’t impacted...

Interesting. I have multiple UYs and mine are still sorted by date. I also didn't notice anything disappearing. Mine are under multiple memberships. Were these issues for multiple UYs under the same membership?

Yes, that is how mine are, different memberships for each UY. My reservations are still appearing in date order, not by membership. I wonder why/how you and others are seeing things differently!

My dashboard is still showing all trips in order of travel, and not by membership. Its one of the things that boggles my mind about the website. How do things work for some and not others? I am not an IT person but it would seem that the coding of things would make it all or none.

Same with the borrowing issue...some people have no problem borrowing online and others do.

They are happening on the DVC website as well. My reservations are back now.

Out of curiosity, are your Memberships Direct or Resale? Because my 2 Resale contracts/Memberships are grouped together, but my 2 Direct are separate, so i have 4 Memberships divided into 3 Groups (with reservations listed in chronological order within "group").

Because of the 50% borrowing, we have "continuing reservations", cobbled together with different Memberships - our first night in May is at the top of page, the second night near the middle, & the balance near the bottom.
All the reservations have been showing correctly in MDE the entire time though.

My resale are before the most recent set of restrictions went into place. My only resale restrictions are the first set of restrictions where we can’t use points for the Disney Collection. Maybe, that is the difference?

Probably not. My membership that was affected was a resale from that same time period.

Both - there’s was no rhyme or reason or pattern as to which UY reservations would display and which wouldn’t

We only have direct points (2 contracts) and I’ve had disappearing reservations multiple times. Once I make a reservation, I snap a photo, write down the number, and try to never revisit it unless I’m adding names or something... I’ve been told that when they’ve disappeared they still exist in some system somewhere so I don’t need to stress about it. Still, trust but verify... keep those reservation numbers handy.

Up until last week - it was mine as well - all trips sorted by date - now it’s by membership by date - very odd - maybe it’s because I have a bunch of reservations...5 trips planned for 2021, lots of split stays, multiple rooms because big family vacations, lots of modifications and lots of single add on days to reservations as rooms became available...maybe it’s a display paging problem...who knows - and in the end it’s all good cause I’M GOING TO DISNEY WORLD!!!
