Reservations close together. Need advice!

So I was just able to snag a 7pm reservation for Ogas, however I have a reservation for California Grill at 805pm. Is there enough time to enjoy Ogas and get to The Contemporary before our dining time? Considering the 15 minute window we would need to be there by 820pm at the latest. I was thinking maybe if we took a Disney Minnie Van/uner/lift/cab if would be faster than the bus. Do you think this is possible and if so what's the best mode of transportation?

I do have a mousewatchers looking for another reservation time so if one pops up I may not have to worry about this. Thanks for the advice.

Way too close. Uber will be your best bet, but won't get you there in time. Any time you're planning on using the 15 minute grace period, you're also counting on things going perfectly. Moving about WDW rarely goes perfectly.

I would risk it. You'd have to be out of Oga's by 7:45 anyway, if I'm understanding their policy correctly, so if you call the Uber as you are leaving and speed walk out of HS, you should be in your Uber by 8pm at the latest, and then the Contemporary is about 10 minutes away. I'd try to modify either to give you more time but if you wind up not being able to, like I said, I'd go for it.

California is a GOAT reservation. don't mess with it. put off the Oga's.

everything takes longer than you think especially traveling spot to spot, even with ubers.

Disney recommends 90 minutes to get to a dining reservation. These 2 will not work with their current times.

I think it's too close. Even if you check in early at Oga's you might have to wait a bit for a spot.

I'd say 99% chance that it would not work. Now, if you went to Ogas early and they happened to let you in early and everything went smoothly and you were okay being really fast and then running out of their and to the exit and took a lift that was there waiting on you...maybe, but I think in reality there's not much of a chance of this working and I'm not a give yourself forever to get somewhere kind of a person, but I think this is just too close.

While I agree, it's too close; Disney recommends the 90 mins. via Disney transportation. The OP explained that they'd use a lyft/uber, so it wouldn't apply here, but again I agree it's too close.

Yeah, no chance unless you chug your drink and run out.

Also, the 15-minute window (not even an official thing) is for truly out-of-your-control situations – NOT purposely over-scheduling yourself and counting on showing up late somewhere else.

Thanks for the advice everyone. You all confirmed my thoughts on it being too close together so I will cancel the Ogas and hope another one opens up. I actually have an Ogas reservation for the next day at 330, however, we are not scheduled for HS that day. We would have to leave Animal Kingdom and parkhop for that reservation.
