I have a reservation question. If we book a trip to WDW in March and book our dining reservations 180 days out and then free dining comes out in April. Do we have to cancel our reservations to change to free dining? If we do does that reset all of our dining reservations?

If your original reservation is room-only, then yes, you will have to cancel it and rebook a package reservation. But, your dining reservations will stay the same, since they are not linked to your room reservation.

Your best bet would be to book a package with dining to begin with. Then, when free dining comes out, you can just call and have the discount added to the existing reservation, without having to cancel and rebook.

That way, even if they don't come out with free dining, you'll still have the dining plan, which is still a great deal! :goodvibes
