I know you are supposed to include a child under two in your party number when making reservations, but I haven't had any luck finding a reservation for 5 at H&V. I did find one for 4, however. Has anyone ever tried to book for 4 and had an infant sit on their lap? DS will be 2 in Jan.

I guess you're right. They grow fast! Worst case I'll watch Indy while the kids eat with mom. Was just curious if anyone has tried this and if they were successful or not.

You need a reservation for the number of people, no matter what their age.
They may let an extra in, but be prepared for them not to.....if it is busy most likely not.

Every person counts, regardless of age, whether they are eating or not. It is a capacity issue per the fire code so it is not about chairs or having someone sit on your lap. While castmembers will do their best to seat extra people, there is the possibility that one person in your group will not be accommodated.

Have you tried to book 2 ADR's? I would call and see if there are two separate ADR's that split you party up. Many times the CM will try to seat your together. When my DS and DDIl decided to join us I tried moving ADR's from 7 to 9. SOme I had luck with, and others I was able to add an additional ADR for 2. I knew there was a chance they would not be seated with us, but every time we were fortunate, and we all were seated together. Possibly because every restaurant we chose had tables that could be pushed together. Give it a try!

I was even looking for 4/1 ADRs. Thankfully, my wife was able to land a reservation for 5 with a couple days to spare. I literally searched 1000 times, my wife only once. Sometimes it better to be lucky than good. :love2:

Great! It is a very bad idea to show up with extra guests not listed on an ADR. Glad you don't have to try it!
