I have been using the website since its' inception to book my ressies for FtW. I am now convinced the website and CRO are both rigged. Last night we took our bikes to FtW and much to our surprise, all the premium loops were pretty full, the preferred sites were full, but 1600-1900 were spottily occupied at best, with 1700 being the most occupied.

Just for giggles when we got home I went online to see what kind of ressie I could get for this coming week - which is typically an off time for FtW. The website offered only premium and preferred. I called CRO and was offered the same thing. I asked, "What - no full hook-up sites available?" I was told they were all booked. I asked,"Well, what about if we came in tonight? Could I get a full hook-up then?" I was told that no, they were sold out. WTH?? There might have been 50 campers total between the 4 full hook-up loops! I told the girl that we were just there & that the full hook-up loops were practically vacant, but she insisted there were no full hook-up sites available.

I call shenanigans!! Disney is purposely forcing guests to the higher priced loops.

Maybe they are getting ready to convert 1700-1900?????

Bobby I.,,,
one bite at a time.

I know something Bobby I can bite!!!!

Bobby is not amused. He has been asking for your real names but I am holding out. I don't want to see any of my friends blacklisted. I suspect Deb has complained a few too many times and this is the reason she is unable to get a reservation.

I was just able to book a FH for the 21st-28th..No issues.. Maybe Bobby got Rog's message! Or a computer glitch!

:lmao: Thanks, I appreciate that. :lmao:

:lmao: Rog has'a way of being persuasive.

Maybe they're all booked by people staying offsite..........

not sure if you heard, but on another thread, there was a big outrage that some people were booking what was called" throwaway campsites" It really left a lot of Dissers upset and the thread was closed due to the discussion. I would think that it may be a reason one of them were not available, but I am not sure of it. Maybe they ( WDW) did only want people to book the premium sites:confused3? Any how, I am sorry that you did not get what you want

Oh yeah - I saw that, but the "throw-away ressies" are for the partial hook-up sites. Also not to mislead you - my trying to make an online ressie & calling CRO was a test. I thought it odd that preferred & premium sites would be pretty full and full hook-up not so full. So I tried it myself & found that the website & CRO forced people to a premium & preferred site without offering a full hook-up. My really convincing evidence to that fact was that CRO would not let me try to book a FHU site for that same evening when there had to be over 100 available.

A friend on FB posted that back when Boardwalk opened and they wanted to stay at the CR, CRO forced them to BW. They went to the CR & talked to a clerk who said the CR was practically vacant and wondered why CRO was turning people away from the CR and to BW? Simple!! The ends justifies the means. BW Resort wasn't well received by the public - so Disney forced people into booking BW. When BW opened - it was the same price as CR & PR, but no monorail & no Disney history. People didn't want to pay that much and not have all the frills.

Oh I think your on to something. Good Work Deb! I have often wondered that it just seem that the Premium is the one they want to sell the most! Oh no you don't think they would use the excuse that the Premiums are always booked and convert the FHU? I hope not! I like the premiums but they are expensive.

wow, very good investigating Debbie! I think you hit the nail on the nose! It makes a lot more sense to me now how I want partial & full & yet always get quoted for the others.

I just thought it a bit odd that 100-300 were full, 400-1400 were mostly full, and 1600-1900 were mostly vacant. That piqued my curiosity - so I conducted a test.

I have a ressie coming up in May and have only managed to get a preferred site. I hope for the Fort manager's sake that, if I can't downgrade to a full hook-up between now and then, that 1600-1900 loops are full for that weekend. If they aren't, you might hear about me in the news.

I'm convinced Fort management is forcing reservations to the higher priced sites first. Especially if you are a Florida resident or an annual passholder registered on the WDW website.

MNSPRK - a question - do you qualify for either Florida resident or annual passholder rates? Just curious. TIA!

I just posted this on another thread so I am repeating myself sorry

I was on the phone with the woman I am dealing with in Group Reservations ( I use that term loosley) she said that she has been telling them loud and clear that something is wrong with their system but they don't get it. She said because of the booking system they are down in $ but instead of fixing it they raise the prices. We get *****, but she also said that everyone hurts from it down the line. The people at the top DON'T GET IT. You would think that a company such as Disney would be run a little better. By having the system the way they do isn't even to their advantage.
