I am soooooo new to this Disney pre-planning stuff.
I just called to get reservations at LLT for 12/8 before we got to MVMCP.
Of course they are all full until 7:55 :guilty:

Soooo what do you suggest I do? I was really hoping for a nice sit down dinner with my family.

Is there a waiting list? like if someone cancels a reservation they will call me? Do I even stand a chance if we just walk right up that night?

Any and all suggestions would be helpful!!!!!

Thanks

Your best bet is to call back every few days, and call every day in the week leading up to your trip. People often don't cancel until the day before they are set to go to the dinner, but there is always a chance.

There is no waiting list, to my knowledge.

I would suggest that you make a backup reservation instead. I know a lot of folks are eating at the MK resorts before the Christmas Party. Just hop the monorail or boat to the resort of your choice, and hop back.

It actually is a little nicer, in my opinion, because when you leave for dinner, the lights aren't all on yet, so it's more of a "WOW!" moment when you get back and it's dark.

If you are interested in doing this, the food at Kona Cafe always gets a good thumbs up at the Poly. You can also do a character dining meal at Ohana at Poly or 1900 park at the Grand Floridian. Just something to consider.

Just my thoughts.

You could also try an early time. We are eating at 4:00 at the Castle before MVMCP.

Eating offiste at a resort is my next option.

7:55p.m is the earliest they had.

That's nothing 3:35 p.m is the latest that Crystal Palace had.... :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

We had a nice CS at the Columbia Harbour House 3 weeks ago. You may find at this point, that this (a CS) is your only choice. It is late to be booking a TS for a party night.

How about taking the monorail to the Concourse Steak House at the Contemporary? Or an early dinner at 'Ohana at the Polynesian? Both are good and convenient (transportation wise) to get you back for MVMCP.

Another option would be to have a nice table service lunch at LTT and then just do a counter service dinner.

As others have suggested, I would keep calling back. I got an ADR this afternon for Chef Mickey's dinner @ 5:40 on Dec. 15, which is an MVMCP night. When I called this past Monday, nothing was available. :earsboy:
