Reservation Timing ??

How long after you make your reservation with MS does it take for it to get in the system so you can see it? How long does it take to get the email confirmation (days)?

If you make the reservation over the phone it should show up on DVCMember.com immediately. Email confirmation is usually sent out same-day, but bear in mind that any email can get grabbed by spam blockers in your software, your ISP, etc.

If you submit an electronic reservation request via the website, those are glorified email messages which are processed on an inconsistent basis. They say to allow up to 48 hours for those requests to be processed.

You can see it almost immediately, 1 day to get the email.

I refresh the page that shows upcoming reservations on our dvc member online account after the CM verbally confirms it, and I can see the reservation before hanging up the phone with MS. It usually takes 10 minutes or so for the point deduction to show up, but the reservation is available to view immediately.

I made reservation today, the email came thru while I was still on the phone with MS. Reservation showed up on the DVC site when I checked it just a few minutes later.

I usually have the screen up and hit refresh when they ask me if I'm ready for the confirmation number. I can usually scroll down fast enough to tell them, no thanks I can see it online.
