Is it acceptable to make an ADR just to have dessert? Really wanting an ooey gooey from Liberty tree tavern when we go in July but not wanting to eat their regular food.

Also I think I read that you can not share dishes when you are in dining plan but if you aren't is it ok at a table service?

Yes, you can ADR a dessert if it is offered as a menu item (non-buffet).

You cannot share Table Service buffets or all-you-can-eat meals.

Yes, make a reservation for just dessert because otherwise you might not be seated. At LTT, be sure it is a lunch reservation because the Ooey Gooey Toffee cake is only on the lunch menu and one of the reasons we have lunch there on every trip.

Most restaurants will allow you to share whether using dining credits or paying out of pocket. You cannot share and everyone will have to pay out of pocket or use credits at buffets (e.g. Chef Mickey's, Tusker House), all you care to eat family style meals (e.g. 'Ohana, Garden Grill), fixed price venues (CRT, Akershus), the 3 dinner shows (Hoop DeDoo, Spirit of Aloha Luau, Mickey's Backyard Barbecue), dessert parties (e.g. Wishes), special events (e.g. F&W special events, Dine with an Imagineer), and the Family Platter at Whispering Canyon Cafe.

Thanks for the tip Kim, I didn't think about that not being on the supper menu!
