Reservation Changes

HI!

I just cancelled a reservation and added another one and just wanted to make sure that my dining reservations were not cancelled when I made this change.

I originally had a room only reservation made and had made all my dining reservations under this reservation number. Once the new fall package came out I decided to call and change to this package. The guy had to cancel my existing reservation and create another reservation with this new code; therefore I received a new reservation number.

Will the dining reservations that I already made still stay current or did I lose them when we cancelled my original reservation?

Why didn't you verify this with the reservation agent? If I was concerned about this, I would call back and verify that the ADRs were still fine.

They should stay current; they're not attached to a reservation. People who don't stay on Disney property can make ADRs, too.

You might want to call the Dining Line (407-WDW-DINE) just to be sure, though.

Since this is a dining reservation question, I've moved this thread to the Restaurants board.

I just did this the other day. I had a reservation at the WL when I made the ADRs, but canceled that for a much better rate at the swan (which wasn't made through disney).

So just to be safe I called to confirm my ADRs after the cancellation went through. All my ADRs were still there, and they asked if I was still staying at the wilderness lodge. Which tells me the systems (dining and room bookings) aren't connected.

You'll probably sleep better if you double check though. Just call and say you're looking to confirm your reservations. They'll look them up, and it only takes a few minutes once you get a CM on the line.
