Reservation Change ?

I booked my Oct 08 trip through Disney travel and got the AAA rate for room only. I called the other day to inquire about adding the dp and I was told by the CM that in order to add the dp I would need to cancel my existing reservation and rebook. The reason she stated that was b/c I was getting a room discount and now I was "supposedly" getting a dining discount and can't have both.

Has anyone else had this experience?

That's what I've always been told: that adding on dining (&/or tickets) changes your reservation from "room only" to a packge. Once it's a package, it has to be booked through AAA if you want the AAA discount.

So contact your local AAA and have them book it for you
