Reservation at rope drop

Okay, I know this probably is a stupid question, but I am a newbie at WDW. I have a Crystal Palace reservation at 9:05 am. Rope drop is 9:00 am. Will they let me in before rope drop to make it? I do not want to miss my reservation and I would love to see MK without many people on the way. Thanks!!

Yes, they will let you in for your reservation. There is a separate entrance at the turnstiles for character breakfasts. If your CP reservation is at 9:05 then I'd plan to be at the turnstiles by 8:30ish. They like you to check in 15 minutes before your reservation time anyway and then you can take pics of MK without tons of people! We love doing this too.
